Now that I have my ecm spy working I was going to do a TPS reset. When I took the scoop off to get better access to the idle adjustment screw it was just hanging there with some zip ties around it. When I tried to turn it counterclockwise to back the setting to zero there was no change on ecmspy (and I checked with throttle blips to make sure it was still reading.) It seemed like it was spinning the entire cable around? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Mine hangs like that too. I put a little lube on it where it attached to the intake and it rotates a lot better now.

zip tie it to the bar in the left of your pic where your scoop screw on. The whole cable also spins when you turn it to adjust, thats normal.

Gotcha, I zip tied it on but when I had it connected to ecmspy I had to keep backing it out and it still wouldn't get to zero. And apparently I'm an idiot because I kept trying to back it out and it came all the way out. Now I can't tell where the adjuster end threads into the engine. Any ideas?

It threads into the throttle body, I think you can get to it if you pull the airbox and filter base out where you can see the throttle body from the top.

Ok, so now I got it back in adjusted my TPS. At first the lowest it would go was 0.8 no matter how far out the screw was backed. So I reset it from there and then did it again and was able to get it to 0. Then I put it to 5.1 after the reset and let it warm up. My idle was around 750-850 so once it reached operating temp I set it between 1050-1150. Now when I start it it idles right around there, but when I have it in gear with the clutch in it stays around 2000 rpm? Didn't want to start another thread so let me know if you guys have an answer to this one!

Try dropping the idle just a little bit. It can hang if your idle is too high. 950 to 1050 is best. If that doesn't work verify the throttle returns to 0 when you back out the screw. If not you messed up the tps reset.
