Jakes is a damn good burger, BUT the best burger money can buy is Who's Who in Highland Park Village!!

It's a Kobe beef burger! And I'll put their fries up against anyone's!!

Pulp Fiction

Great movie!

ok i finally got to go lastnight (waited in the drive thru for like 30 or so minutes). I will say it was a well cooked, greasy, goodtasting hamburger. Will i go all the way to frisco for one......NO. Not until there is one closer, although it was abover average i could find just as good a burger closer to home. I also think that in the next few days/weeks all the hype is going to wear off this place, its overflowing with people only due to the fact that its a california thing and its making its debut in texas.

on another note, the fries were a HORRIBLE waste of space, the cheese clumped them all together and tasted like they had been sitting for an entire evening. Even without the cheese i was thinking "ok nothing amazing" since i prefer curly fries in all honesty.

so overall for a in n out first timer, they can make a good stack of meat, nothing worth riding 30 minutes for though, it will be a few weeks and this place will just be "another burger joint" in all honesty

and check this place out, thought it was kindof interesting they were talking about this on the news WHILE the in n out was opening HAHA

heart attack grill

Wow you must have got a bad batch I am a non Califonian and I thought it was one of the best I ever had the first time I had it and I am a fat kid I know my food, like you said though waiting thirty minutes it prob wasnt as fresh as it normally would be without the long lines and food sitting times! Dont give up they will get better! But I lived in McKinney for years and Frisco wasnt a bad drive/ride!

Yeah...it's not like they have crack laced in the burgers...it's just a good burger for cheap. Sounds like you might have gotten a bad batch of fries, although I never get anything on my fries except a little salt. Even when they are good they are a lot different than the crap they pass off as fries at places like McD's...at in-n-out they are real potatoes, sliced seconds before they are fried in veggie oil.

Like I said, it's not so much about it being some crazy superior product. I'm sure there are places you can get a better burger. But there's no place you can get a good burger for that cheap that cares about what goes in their product, and that's actually pays and treats their employees well.

In and out is not to bad, always clean and and easy menu but there is always a long line. I have to say White Castles are my faves but that is easy for me to say because I have not had a fresh one in years! We dont get them out in California. You hear that White Castle! Open a store in San Diego! You will have all the bums lined up around the block buying them.

Some body need to make a "Good Burger!!!" That would be the **** sorry don't mean to thread jack

Drove by the new location in Allen TX today and it was still a madhouse. It's been open now for what, couple weeks, month? And it's still crazy.

Nuts.

Ya people are saying the frisco location is still about an hour wait around lunchtime. I think it's only been like two weeks or something. May take longer than that..........

WALLSXB,
I'll trade you Blakes for In-and-out.I live in Southeast N.M. and our Blakes is always empty.I seriously don't know how they stay open.

Try a "SmashBurger." I was a die-hard In-and-out fan until I had one bite of the tender, juicy perfection that is an Arizona Smashburger! I'll never go back.
