India going apeshit over Buells new bike

This is going to go down in motorcycle history. Pawan Munjal and Hero were basically in the same situation as Erik Buell and Buell Motorcorp. Mr Munjal was building and empire making Honda scooters and 125 Singles for sales in the 3rd world, but Munjal wanted to RACE and enter the high-end market. Honda for years was denying him any race technology what so ever and used all kinds of dirty tricks to keep him hobbled.. Honda didn't want Munjal to race at all. So Hero buys its freedom from Honda and then buys up 49% of EBR... now Erik is being encouraged to do what hes good at, he finally has that partnership he was looking for. They both deny it but this is basically a "blood feud" between the new guys and the old guard... and this isn't being done on a shoestring budget. Hero is HUGE.. and it doesn't need to make huge profits for a while in the high-end market.. Hero's money is all coming from real low-cost products sold in the 3rd world.

have you seen how much share price for Hero Motocorp is....!!!

god damn they are high. jumping 8% in the last 6 months, and sitting at 56% market share world wide.

Hero Motocorp is the largest manufacturer of bikes on the planet.

now they get to flex their muscle and do what they want to with EBR's recommendations, technology and design know how.

best partnership ever.

well you know what they are gonna do.. they are going to do the same thing Suzuki did with that SV and motors that they had 650-1000 then put those motors into a wide range of bikes .. nakeds, full faring , dual sports ect ect.. its the only thing that makes sense..

I don't know about you guys, but I figured that Erik and Munjal might stop by on those videos to judge the reaction to it.. so I went in there and left the "Cult of Buell" footprint in there and showed my support for this project... so if you like it, please them Erik and Munjal know ..
