Some fellow buell riders and I are curious if the bike used was owned by Jamie or if it was a loaned bike. If it is Jamies did it start its life as a street 1125r that your team converted (bike still has license plate mount on rear) or is it a pure track bike? We were just curious if you could provide us with any insight.
and this is what I got back......
It is Jamie's personal 1125R that he was riding on the street, but wanted to use for trackdays. The race team stopped by the Mythbuster's shop and fitted it with EBR catalog trackday parts when they were out on the swing to Infineon and Miller in the spring. Jamie likes it a lot. I've always loved that show, and found it really cool that he is a true sport bike guy!
