Inherited XB12Scg needs work

I inherited a 2006 XB12SCG, it has been sitting since 2012. Only has 749 miles. Looking for a mechanic to flush out the fuel system. I bought a new battery to check the milage and have not turned the motor over. Did not want to get old fuel into the it.

I think my brother-in-Law put stabilizer in the fuel when he got sick.
With the low milage and never having been worked on before, I am looking for recommendations on where to take it for an experienced Buell mechanic.
I'm in South Florida.
Not sure how much I do to it or sell as is? Looking for some advice.

It hasn't sat since 2012. It has sat since 2006

Buell, In Florida, with 749 miles. Is the frame polished? Lots of custom paint on it? From Treasure Coast HD? If so, there is a really good V-twin shop about a mile up the street on Indian.

You are doing the smart thing by NOT starting it, until it sees a professional:up:. If they are good, they will recommend before starting it:
1) Fuel tank/system flush with new fuel pump assembly and injectors.
2) All new fluids. Oil, primary fluid, brake fluid, fork oil
3) All rubber replaced. Tires, intake seals, fork seals, belt.
4) All external bearings replaced. Front and rear wheel bearings, steering stem bearings.
5) Battery, of course. Also check for corrosion at ground locations and in the fuse box.

In NO WAY is this a comprehensive or complete list, BUT it shouldn't be as expensive as even one Ducati service, Haha. Your reward for doing it right can be an awesome running, fun, tribute to your brother:angel:

Or call the Barber museum and see if they want to buy it as-is.

He bought the bike new and a little farther south. I was hoping I did not have to go so far North.
Thanks for the list (and the link above). I will start by just getting it runnig, looks like 1/2 the list.
I will want to sell it. Looks like a job for someone else.

What are the odds of 2 Buells in the same area with that crazy low mileage?
