Installing Race ECM: Difficulty Level / Recommended?

So I get my race ecm in the mail the other day and call the HD dealership that I bought my bike from to ask how much it would cost to install. For one the guys I spoke to didnt know much about buells or the TPS reset but they told I need a race license in order for them to install it. (wtf) I wanna know if it simple enough and safe if I install the ecm myself and just ride it to the dealer to have them do the TPS reset. any advice is appreciated thanks [up]

lol I have a service manual [up], lol so I will read over that when I get home, am I going to be able to just plug the ECM in and ride to the dealer for a TPS reset without any problems? I've heard people say they put theirs in and the bike wouldnt start, maybe they did somethin wrong lol I dont want that to happen to me
