Been riding and wrenching on bikes for a LONG time. Pulled the rear shock to replace O2 sensor. Installing the shock is not really the issue, the mother lovin black plastic cover refuses to go back in. "Official" Buell service manual doesn't even mention it. Does not even show it in the pic for tail section disassembly? Is there some voodoo that I do not know about involved in getting this back in?

I have instructions for what they called an air duct that came with the Ulysses comfort kit. If that is what you are talking about, then the instructions I have call for the battery pan and trunk pan to be removed, harnesses and other connectors moved aside, etc. I have heard some people warming it up (probably just sitting in the sun), and then coaxing it in to place.

You are awesome! This is my second Uly and my first one did not have the comfort kit. I bought this one with it already installed. I knew I had to be missing something. Anybody have a PDF of the comfort kit instructions they can send me,

Cheers Ken
