$640 a year full coverage, progressive. multicar policy. 07 XB12R.

30, clean record for now. i think i got 5 tickets last year?
[confused]

It does vary from state to state as well.
Up in North Dakota they don't like insuring sport bikes. (Being a naked twin they don't consider the 12R a sport bike)
My co-worker had a YZF-R6 and was paying nearly 1200/yr for liability only. 26 w/a clean driving record. When I lived in Illinois I was paying 300/yr for liability, I was 20 with a clean record.

I personally think the whole thing is extortion, but that's just me.

yes insurance is a total scam but you have to have it the people that do not have it are the ones that are driving the cost of everybody elses insurance to go up. In the state of Washington you do not have to have ins. on a bike unless it is financed go figure!

Mine is about $300 a year, full coverage, 33 no tickets. Washington is weird if you own it you dont need insurance, but its up to the finance company if they want you to. My friend has a 07 CBR1000 that he financed through Honda and they dont require it either. Thats crazy.

550 full coverage state farm, NJ. for my 12s

350 full coverage state farm, NJ. for my 03 600RR

05 xb12r in ohio full coverage i'm 25 no tickets or violations single bike plan and its 466 a year. coverage all 12 months. (not that I can drive it 4 out of the 12 but thats what was offered. It wasnt any cheaper to do like a 6 on 6 fire and theft. Plus if you go to daytona bike week like I do sometimes you dont need to worry.

my 9 is $80/month full coverage. got quoted 140/month for a 12 through progressive, its what made me say 9!

I have received quotes for my '08 XB12Scg for as much as $2800 a year(i'm 39 years old!). I just received a really good quote from Rider Insurance Service located in Fairmont, Georgia. The quote was for full coverage including "Un-insured Motorists" for $700 yr through Dairyland Insurance (Sentry Ins Co.).

Give them a call if you are in the U.S. at (706) 625-8577
