I'm in the market for liability only on my two bikes and was wondering what you guys have or if anyone's done the research for cheapest. I've always just gone with progressive and never really looked.

I've got a 2003 xb9r and a 77 kz400. no theft or anything just liability so I can get registered and inspected..

if you're an agent email me: justice@txstate.edu

-thx

lol, I just got a policy through geico since I'm 26 now my insurance went from 160/mo to 176 for the whole year. and that's for 2 bikes. I guess you can close this. I am still curious though who has what for the cheapest.

It 100% depends on the CC of the bike and the location in the country you are in. I pay roughly $300/year for liability only on my bike. I pay $600 for full coverage on my other bike.

And get this, Rider insurance considers the 1125R a standard!:D They quoted me over $1900 for a ZX-14 (I pay about $450 for my XB12R) full coverage. So the 1125R is the same price $450!:D We love riderout here.

Dairyland does the same thing with Buells (I'm not sure about 1125r) but their price for me on the XB12S is great.

I don't know if this will help much, but I have full coverage on my '03 XB9R with $250 deductible through progressive direct and it's only $615/year, which isn't that bad considering I'm only 22.

i use rider for my bike. (525 a year full coverage)

I use Gieco for my cars and they are ripping me off bigtime. I did call them about adding my bike to my policy but they said it would have to be a seperate policy. ....and because I was in a minor accident 2.5 years ago,... and one ticket that was changed from "illegal lane change" to something minor (i forget, but i paid 2x fine and got no points)

Sooo, Guess what they quoted me?? A whopping $1675.00 per year for my XB12X!!! LOL

They also said no one else would be cheaper anywhere because of my car accident and the one ticket. WTF kind of drugs are they doing at Gieco??
