Hi guys,
My D&D slip on came in, looks pretty nice!
I will be installing it saturday morning on my 2008 XB12s. For now, I am just going to go with install the D&D, TPS reset and ride it.
When I can find a reputable dyno-tuner around VA that is setup to reprogram the '08 ECM I will open the airbox and put in a hi-flow filter then get it done.
Couple of questions I have:
1.) I plan to just disconnect the interactive exhaust cable and tie-wrap it out of the way. Do you see any problem with that, or should I remove it completely? I figure leaving it hooked up and floating out of the way would make an easier job if I have to put the original muffler back on for inspection or whatever.
2.) Anybody installed a D&D on XB12s? Looks pretty straightforward but I'd appreciate any lessons learned / tips.
Thanks for the help!
This site is great to read. I don't post much on account of being a Buell noob but really appreciate all the info!
