I've got a 2007 xb12stt. It has 23,300 miles on it. Everything is stock, with the exception of some NGK plugs, new wires, recently replaced o2 sensor, and recently replaced stator and battery.
I've had some error codes show up when I do the 1/2 pin connection and count the flashes on the dash. I get O2 sensor, IAT and the interactive muffler control.
I've had these codes since before I changed o2 sensor and stator. I've had the IMC and ign coil off multiple times, but the connections have all been seated well. Had the header off for header donut replacement (that's when I replaced o2 sensor).
I was not too concerned because it can take 50 start cycles to clear a code.
Two nights ago, I was accelerating WOT up hill and bounced off the limiter on 2-3 shift. The CEL flashed on for the briefest of moments and then was off. I thought nothing off it. Last night I was on the same hill and did the same thing, but bounced off the limiter on 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 shifts. The CEL came on and stayed solid. Checked the codes when I got home and got the same codes listed above.
I'd like to get some direction to go.
