Hi there-

Recently picked up a 2006 XB12ss and just thought I'd throw out an introduction.

I bought the XB for the same reason I bought an ATK605 dual sport a while back (look it up!). I'm a sucker for american inginuity. Can't help it. So far I haven't even burned a tank of fuel through the XB (my daily commute just isn't long enough...) But am enjoying the manuverability immensly. Guess sometime soon I'll have to mess with the ecm. Guy I bot the bike from gave me a race ecm and cable, and I'm to curious not to hook it all up and see.

Here's the specs on the XB
>2K miles
Jardine
Carbon fiber skins
race ecm
K&N air filter
flat handle bars (from an XBr?)

Damn. On '06 with <2K miles? I had more than that after two months on my '09 XB12Ss.
Welcome to the club.

Oh and welcome to the new guy I live in Australia but this is definately the best buell info ive found so far...............[up]

Welcome to the forum. 2006 XB12ss is nice. How can anyone own a Buell Lightning and ride it only a few hundred miles per year? Doesn't make sense to me.

Hey guys...Wife and I just joined the "Buell" Family...Got an 04 XB12S...Love it so far..Came from an 07 GSXR600...Great change in bikes. We are in Southern Ontario (Niagara) and would love to meet up with fellow riders...Let us know!
