Intro Thread, 1st Bike!

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

I just picked up an 08 XT. It has an aftermarket Jardine and is running lean. I had an 09 XR1200 before this and I used a Patriot Fueler module to tune it. Tonight I found out from an friend that I can tune this baby from a bluetooth app on my phone. STOKED!!!

I used Sportster.org and the badweatherbiker forums to learn how to upkeep and mod my Sportsters and X1 Lightning. I am looking forward to digging into the knowledge vaults on this forum to make my Uly run great.

I just had a guy swear to me the new stock 4x4 1/2 ton Ram he bought does little wheelies. I explained nicely that Dodge does make a vehicle that does that. Called a Demon. On slicks, and 1000HP.

Argument ensued... Gotta love the internet!:upset:

Just drove 300 miles (each way) from northern Italy to Ramstein, Germany to pick up this 2008 Uly with only 8000 miles. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm putting tags on it tomorrow and riding thru the Alps this weekend. I will let you guys know how it does.

Also have a Buelltooth box inbound with XB-SS exhaust, Buelltooth, Baro sensor and chin fairing bracket.

That's a nice find in Europe, I would just make sure your battery is good and clean your grounds, no matter how they visually look, also change the oil and the oil filter, carry some extra fuses and the electrical contact boxes. Good luck with the bike and safe trip.

Thanks for the info. It was just serviced, new battery, new tires, fresh oil.
