Howdy all!
Names Nick, just graduated college (University of Rochester!) and have been an active reader of the forum all throughout college. Since I just got a job in downtown Seattle that pays me enough to afford to buy myself a Buell, I figured I'd take a moment to drop a line and introduce myself.
The part I need help with is figuring out which one to get. Since going to a dealer and test riding isn't really an option, I was hoping that you could weigh in on how your bike fits you. I'm 5'11" with 31" inseam, so a tad short in the legs and a tad long in the torso. I think I'd prefer the long frame, as my riding style isn't super aggressive most of the time (although nothing makes like mountain roads and dragging footpegs on a supermotto) and I have a history of going on long (like +1000 mile long) rides and taking fire roads jus' cuz so the longer travel might be handy, but fit is more important.
So in summary, shout out to Seattle-goers and Northwesterns, you'll have a new member by next summer, if you're 31" inseam or 40" in the rest of you, tell me what fits you, and if you're in the Northwest and have a bike or the pieces to build one up for sale, drop a line and say hi!
