i want to be able to communicate with my girlfriend on the back while listening to music at the same time. Ive looked at a dozen or so bluetooth com systems that supposedly work with the iPhone 3GS, and they say you can listen to music too, but no where can i find one that will just interrupt or talk over your music.

I'm going to have to buy helmet speakers/riding mic so i was looking for a system that did all those things,.. but this would also work if apple just had an iPhone walkie talkie type app that works while playing music, anyone know of one? I downloaded walkie talkie pro for .99 cent but it stop the music :-\

I'll have a look at the Caberg Just Talk system that i have when i get home.
never had to communicate with someone on the way so i never tried it but i'll check all the supported connections for yah.

thanks man,...
ya you know how some apps you fire up wont kill your music and some do,.. if i just had a walkie talkie app (and there are a bunch out there i just don't want to pay for them all to find out if any work) that wont stop my music that'd be tits :)

I bought a Element helmet "fasttrack" made by Oneil. I has bluetooth installed. I listen to my music and if someone calls it takes over. If i hold down the button on my helmet it calls the last person back. It also links the helmet with another. I would look into that. and yes i use a apple 3gs

I ordered that same helmet from locomx.com on the 2nd of May. They STIL have not sent it. They were real quick to take the $ for it though. I DONT recommend using them to anyone at all. I was really looking forward to it too. Where did you get yours from black?

Buy the Cardo G4 multiset, a Q2 Multiset, or one Q2 or G4 and a regular Cardo Scala Rider. I use the Q2 with my 3Gs and it's awesome. I plug in the earphone output to the input of the Q2 for music, and pair the two up with bluetooth. I can voice command listening to songs or calling people. While playing a song, if I get a call, it seamlessly switches over to the call. The G4 is totally wireless, but the A2DP on the 3Gs runs down the battery faster.

Then there's communication. It crystal clear and plenty loud even if you have an aftermarket pipe. You can have multiple buddies and talk over a 1/2 mile away.

AV i got from motorcycle superstore. Great prices, no tax, free three day shipping, but that turned into a week shipping when they didn't have my jacket in stock.
