Is this a good price?

DIBBS! What do you all think about this bike for this price? I'm sure he will sell it for 5500 but that just seems a little high for an 04 to me. But i dont know buells as well as most here. let me know your thoughts

As noted he does have some stuff done to the bike but none are really any items to add real value to the bike.

I have bought and own 2 Buells and would say based on what I have and got for my money the bike is worth roughly $4200-$4600.

The bike is NOT worth what he is asking. My $0.02

I agree with xtremelow. It's a little like buying and selling a car where most of the stuff you put into it won't add value, in many cases it may cost you more to get the stock parts for inspection. If you plan on financing it at your bank, my bank went by nada, which brought the value down alot compared to kbb.

I bought my 2004 xb12s for $5100 on ebay (stock though). It had 709 miles. I think you can do better

I bought my 2004 xb12s for $3800 from a guy across town. 1 month ago. It had 3071 miles. Don't expect to get THAT kind of deal, but yeah...you can do better.

Yeah we're all on the same page here. I offered 4500 2 days ago but he didnt bite, so i guess we'll see what happens

I wouldn't budge from that price. I would assume he will try to counter offer $5100, but tell him you have done your research and the bike is worth no more than $4500.

If you can buy it for that price do it, but if not just keep looking and dont rush yourself into getting a bike otherwise you will regret your purchase as you will either spend to much or get something that is nothing but headaches.
