I'm not sure what the previous owner did to wear this tire so hard on one side but I've continued to ride it for quite a while. I hadn't noticed how bad it was until tonight and I'm supposed to go on a 3 hour ride tomorrow down to Carmel. I know it can be hard to tell from photos, but do you think I'm ok to make the trip there and head back on Sunday?

Id say youd be fine as the centerline has good tread. Just dont turn or lean left if it rains :D

Would definitely replace when you get back though! Revzilla you can get a shinko delivered for under 100 bucks!

left hand turns? sure looks like the right side of the tire is worn to me. Usually that happens from riding on roads that have a large crown to them.

Looks like you ride on the side of the crown of your lane all of the time. Your tire is fine for your trip.

Damn Kona beat me

when I bought my 1125 it was worn bad on one side from the springs being different sizes. Surely not in your case. Would the preloads being different cause this?
