Is this xb9sx a good deal?

I saw this bike on Craigslist - http://annapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/4503271036.html. This will be my second Buell after the Blast.

Does this look like a good deal? Is the oil leak or other issues mentioned a deal breaker? How much can the oil leak be fixed for? Can it create problems for me in the future. I'm thinking about offering 3000 for it.

You need to cut the extra "." off the end of the url in your link for it to work.

IMHO, the price seems a little bit high but after negotiation you could get to something good. Its not terrible though. What would concern me more is that number of brand new replacement parts that come wit the bike. It would seem that the owner apparently has more concerns about maintenance that needs to be done than they are letting on in the "The Bad" section. I don't know about anyone else but I normally don't just buy random parts unless I think I'm going to need them in the very near or immediate future.

Not horrible, 3k is probably the top end of what I would pay. I wouldnt be extremely concerned about the extra parts he stats that it was his daily driver so maybe he just wanted to make sure he had spare parts in case of broken parts. The spares all seem to be either left over from swapping parts out or common use parts anyways.

At 19k miles the bike still has plenty of life left in her!
