Issues

So this has happened once or twice before and I'm quite unsure of how to deal with it. The other times it happened my bike was cold, and I had just pulled her out of the garage but this last time, I had been riding for a while and had to pull over because I forgot something in my pocket.
Ok I'm going to describe this to they best of my ability.
It happens when I'm in 1st gear, I start to release my clutch, give it gas (yes it's enough to go) then she just kind of starts to die, and she does unless I pull the clutch back it, well it's not a full on die, the engine is still running I'm just seems like I'm not getting enough power at first, my engine light turns on while she is at a loss of power, but turns off when i pull the clutch in. and she will go if I have the clutch slightly pulled in and then when I switch to second she is fine.

I can relate. Mine has done similar since it was brand new. It has never happened once it is warmed up though. I just chalked it up to being cold natured. If I give it a 5min warm up it does not act up. Sorry I can't be more help.

Have you done a breather re-route ??

Spark plugs ??

Had some odd/hard to describe problems until I did those two mods.

Hi AKNight, in your Introductions thread, you mentioned this:

Can I ask what was that problem? Just curious in case it might be related to your 1st gear takeoff problem.

Also, has it ever done this while accelerating from a slow roll (1st gear) and not from a full stop? The reason I ask is, if you are still heading to the Dragon this weekend, **that might be a bad thing to have happen in a tight turn.

Well, the one issue was a battery connection issue...
No, it's never done that, it always only happens from a stop...
