IT FINALLY CAME HOME!!!!

ALRIGHTY!!! got the 09 xt in today and i will have to say i didn't get a long ride but i did ride,.... im loving the bike but here comes the list of things i wanna change in no particular order,.... also an initial ride report i guess! bike is bone stock with 819 miles on it

#1 shorter windshield.. just not diggin the tall one and it causes my shark helmet to buffet pretty good when its in the open face configuration

#2 too quiet for me, although i don't want it to be obnoxiously loud

#3 needs better throttle response...it was kinda temperamental when i first rode it (coughing and stalling) but it seemed to smooth out after time and new fuel

#4 is there a shorter seat for an 09 xt? im still kinda tip toeing it.

#5 i want a tune but don't know the way to go,... if i make future changes i need a tune that can be tweaked with my future plans.

#6 is there any taller handle bar options?

#7 who designed these keys? that thing cuts my leg to pieces in my pocket!

#8 i want a better set of hand guards, these are strictly bug deflectors and keep popping them off on accident

#9 also want some better levers too

#10 more ride time

lastly what are the recommended mods? the important ones i need to focus on?

I went with the Drummer SS on my 07, and really like it. Has some throat, but not real loud.

Did open air box and EBR ecm and haven't had any sputtering and whatever since.

I like it tall, so no help on the seat. Haven't messed with the bars, but I'm open if you find something cool. I've also been looking for something a little cooler on the handguards, but can't really find anyhting I like enough to change them out.

im goin acrebis hand guards...

now i want a shorter windhield or i want to delete mine... what can be done abotu the holes in the plastic? any pics of deleted windshields?
