Its finally under 1000, according to the Buell finder site there are only 975 Buells left in the states.

Some dealerships will be hanging onto them for a long time. Look at some of the prices they've been asking.

This is true that is why there was dealerships for a long time that still have brand new 96 s1s sitting on there showroom floor and still trying to sell them at the original msrp 10 years later.

yeah I was surprised when I tried calling around a couple weeks ago at the prices I was finding. I was hoping to pick one up but the prices are still pretty high, but I'm sure they won't have any problem selling them once the warm weather gets here.

You can still get them for $6500 at Big Sky Harley in Great Falls Montana!!

Yeah, there's still some $6500-6900 in ohio, Eastern PA, and VA, but nothing near Western PA, and if I was gonna drive 4 hours I was hoping to find one of the $4k deals, but I'm sure they were all out the door in the first week or 2. If dealerships really wanted to get rid of them they'd do some more of the $4k price tags, but they know they'll sell eventaully anyway.
