Hello Everyone,

My first experience with Buell was back in 2010 when my uncle would let me ride his blue XB9SX when I was visiting. I remember going around the first corner on the Buell and being surprised at how different it felt compared to my CBR. I was equally surprised by the handling as I was the 7K rpm redline and lack of power. At the time bikes without an inline four didn't appeal to me. About 5 years ago I sold the inline fours and took a break. Last year I bought a Honda Grom which is an absolute blast to ride around neighborhood. Riding the Grom has made me appreciate having fun on a motorcycle without breaking the speed limit. Now 15 years later I feel like I have come full circle. Suddenly my memories of the XB9SX being "too slow to have fun" seem like a really great time ripping around the neighborhood at a more reasonable speed. Out of all the bikes I've ridden to date my experience on the XB9SX left the biggest impression on me in terms of a bike that felt like it had character and soul beyond the numbers on a spec sheet.

I've been reading through the forums over the winter. I'm looking to pick up an XB12 as the weather warms up for a daily rider.
