Hey Guys when I got back from taking my XB for a ride today I noticed I could barely see any pad left on my front brake, and the back is down to about 1mm, so I went looking for pads I was kinda blown away at the cheap end of the market being 30 bucks for front and rear and the buell originals being 50 bucks per wheels. I was kinda hoping If someone could tell me if there really is that much difference in the pad quality or if its just paying for the buell brand name on the pad?

thanks everyone
Ned

thanks much brian for the recommendation. hope you're doing well.
yes...i sell tons of EBC HH pads to members. both front and rear sets are $82....and $3 for insurance on shipping. i pay the freight anywhere in the USA.

Thanks for the replies guys but they don't answer my question.

How do the EBC pads compare stock?
the HH pads grab the best as one can see from the other forum posts but with what additional wear to the rotor?

Are they superior in just grip or longevity as well to the stock pads?(if it is even possible to have both,as I don't know hence the start of this thread)

Thanks guys
Ned

ned: ebc...galfer...braking...all good brands. my experience that wet or dry the ebc hh pads have excellent initial bite, great lever feel, longevity that rivals anything on the market BUT totally dependent on how hard you do or don't hammer the brakes...and are very tender on the rotors. plus they're virtually dust free. how's that for a factual sales pitch? :D

Run EBC's on mine up front. Excellent pads! I am a 'semi-aggressive' rider. (Lol!).I have Braking (brand name) pads on the rear, only because I didn't know Lunatic then, and I could not find any EBC's anywhere for the rear. They work well, but ARE dusty pads. EBC's front and rear before too long this spring!
