I just got my Jardine exhaust put on, but I want to switch back to stock or something quieter! Is the switch over hard...would the dealer have done any mods to make it not possible to switch back to stock?

Just get the baffle, it goes on and comes off easy. When you want quiet, slip it on...when you want noise, take it off.

I think its a bit more than 10db, from what i've heard from the manufacturer it makes the noise closer to stock.

yea, but they are not saying how close :D

i have one laying around here, i'll have to try it!
but do keep in mind that the quiet insert will also kill quite alot of the performance.

there are to many topics for this :p

jsw07, i unwrapped and installed the quiet insert i had laying around here.

and to tell you the truth, you are not going to be happy with the result.
it is a tiny bit more quiet then without (overall volume), although there is less bass in it, which will bring the db level down to about 100-110db.
buell exhaust, to loud
;)

better news is, i know a guy, who knows a guy and he tells me that my mechanic made a custom one that does help alot more.
although i think that jsw07 would still be unhappy [sad]

I think I would be happy. :) Imagine me pulling up to the church almost everyday with that pipe on my bike!

people would say: "look at that cool pastor, let's go to church and meet him" :p

JSW I'm guessing you are keeping the pipe. I hope you are happy now. If so, my loss, but your gain.

Next Season? We ride all year down here. Sorry for you, although I must admit I am ready for some cooler weather. It stays hot too long down here.

I got an econo-drummer and love the pipe. I also love the service from Kevin at Drummer. I didn't even buy my pipe from him directly and he was great. Although, my buying the econo did help him sell another pipe.

Yeah yeah BuellPastor...rub it in! Thanks A lot!
What kind of church do you pastor by the way?

PCA- Presbyterian.
Don't mean to rub it in. Right about now I wish I was having your weather, but in about 6 weeks I'm happy for mine.
