Jardine Crap!!!!

I am so sick of this Jardine pipe. It has blown out now for the second time. Is anyone else having this problem, were the front blows out the rivet holes?

Yes I did may be it was not enough.

Maybe the rivets you used to reattach the front piece are not large enough for the holes?

Are you using aluminum rivets or stainless steel? The Stainless are the way to go. Aluminum rivets are really soft and dont do near as good with the heat. I've never had a problem with mine except the right mounting bracket has broke twice from bringing the front tire down after riding a wheelie. Welded it up really good this last time, no more problems.

yea, all depends on quality of packing and the rivets...

Rivets are SS and they are still there, Drilled new holes to fit the rivets I had. The material between the hole and the end is what blew out. I will look into some more packing and I am going to make some SS straps to support the rivets.
