Yes another Jardine exhaust install questions :D
Anyone have any tips and tricks to installing a slip on RT-One. Do you have to follow the instructions word for word i.e. do you have to remove the kick stand to complete the installation, remove the bolts for the belt tensioner.
I am thinking about cutting the existing mounts to avoid disconnecting the oil line.
Thanks.

1. You do have to remove the kickstand, thats where the new shin fairing bracket will go. unless u don't want to use the chin fairing. had a friend hold my bike upright while i removed the kickstand and re attached it (note: do this before you slip on the pipe its easier to get to the bolts)

2. Don't cut the brackets, disconnect the oil line from the motor at the front, cover the hole with your finger and have a friend slip the mount off, I only lost a few drops of oil this way.

3. I never removed the belt tensioner,I removed the foot beg and brake pedal to get to the rear clamp bolts (these are on there pretty good, actually snapped a clamp trying to loosen the bolt.

other than that the instructions are pretty straight forward, and it goes together pretty easy. If u have bike with the exhaust valve, just disconect the cable from the old pipe and tuck it away where you see fit, don't disconnect the wiring to the servo this will cause the engine light to come on and run a little choppy.

hope that helps
