Jardine exhaust installation

Not sure if this topic has been discussed before but does anyone have any advice on installing an RT-One slip on ... do I need to follow the instructions word for word ... i.e. do I have to remove the kickstand? Are there any tips and tricks that can be shared?

to install the pipe, you don't have to remover the kickstand, but to mount your chin fairing you do, you take the kickstand off and put one of the mounts that come with the pipe between it and the motor to bolt the chin fairing to (note do this before you put the pipe on its easier to get to the bolts, I had a friend hold the bike upright while i took out the bolts and put them back in), its best to follow the instructions though, it will make life alot easier

Drain your oil first, you have to remove the oil line to remove the stock exhaust bracket.

I didn't drain the oil. I took the line from the engine instead of the tank and only lost a drop or 2 of oil.
