just wanting some input. I have been looking at jardine slip-ons. The ones that I have looked at have about the same horsepower jumps, but I am looking for a more throaty and louder pipe. I have ahd several people tell me that the gp-1 makes it sound more like a crotch rocket. and the rt-1 has the deeper sound. but I have also heard the exact opposite.

Hey, I currently have the Jardine RT-1 slip-on installed on my 'bolt. And i love it. it has a good throaty sound to it. so while i have no first hand knowledge of the gp-1, i can honestly testify that the Jardine RT-1 has a deep rumble to it. My friends love my exhaust and are always impressed by it, mostly cuz they all have either japanese bikes or ducatis.

Do you have a 9 or a 12? I cant speak for the gp-1 or a 9 but I really like the rt-1 on my 12. I can feel it deep down inside me when I get on it. All my buddies say it sounds good on the road.

I have an 08 xb12r and have the rt-1 and it sound mean as hell, it very throaty, this is a good choice

Ive got an 03 XB9R with a Jardine and couldnt be happier with the sound. I especially like the backfires when I let of the throttle and have gotten several comments about it too.

should I wait until after the break-in period before modding the exhaust, or does it matter? thanks for the input guys, I really am lost with my new bike. I have always rode jap bikes and all my friends still do. so its nice to have people to help. i'm glad I crossed over[up]

I HAVE A 06 FIREBOLT WITH THE RT-1 IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN MY HARLEY DOES IT'S MORE THROATY. I AGREE WITH SQUIERS007 ABOUT THE BACKFIRE.
