I bought a '06 XB and not sure how to tell which pipe I have on the bike.

It's a Jardine, but not sure if it's aluminum or titanium.

Anyone know how I could tell the difference?

propane torch can melt both I believe but you'd need oxygen to get hot enough to melt titanium, aluminum won't glow red, it'll just melt, and titanium will take a while to melt, and long before it'll turn red and glow.

Aluminum melts around 1200 F, Titanium melts around 3000 F so you could hope you've got a titanium one an heat it until it glows red....or melts because it's aluminum..:D;)[sad][smirk][up][down]

Neither is magnetic so that's no help. Is there a part number or something on it you can reference? They look the same on the website pics.

The aluminum ones tend to be brighter in color. The titanium ones are usually a duller silver, almost grayish in color.
