So after cranking up my xb12r after a nice 4 hour ride I hear the muffler clanging around and making all sorts of racket. Apparently it worked itself loose and further went on to damage itself. I took the can off and saw that the rivets have expanded the holes and the entire assembly is pretty loose. I figure just repacking the can and re-riveting should fixed all the problems, but I thought I'd ask on here for any further advice especially since the holes have been stretched. Thanks!

I love my jardine. Anyway look for rivets with bigger heads. (there out there). I just repacked mine and I think it brought a little power back. Super east to do, I just went to a local shop and got dirt bike packing materal. Good luck bro.

Could you weld the end up? I'm getting a gp1 and I noticed that the end is welded up instead of riveted... Just a thought

I thought about that, but that might ruin my chances of ever repacking it again. Certainly would be a quick fix though.
