Jardine RT-1 - Stock ECM

Hi all,

I have a 2009 XB12SS.

What will it do if I put the RT-1 exhaust on the stock ECM? I also run the K&N filter.

Is the poping sound acceptable or ok...

Just trying to plan in advance if ecm will be needed...

it will run lean and maybe a bit on the hot side. You also may lose a little power on the bottom end. Time for a tune!

I did read a lot on the subject and finally opted to order EBR race ECM for Jardine exhaust.

Want to do thing properly and tuning with TunerPro and all that stuff was too complicated.

If your close to VA beach I can get a buddy to tune but it'll cost for dyno time.

I did put the Jardnie on AND the EBR ECM.

It sounds soooo loud!!!

Was thinking of putting the noise reduction "clip-on". Any of you got one of those? Worth it? Makes a difference?

The QMI insert ( noise reduction cap) will kill the power delivery of the Jardine.

No offense, but if you were going for a less noisy exhaust, you really chose the wrong pipe. The Jardine is like one of the loudest, if not the loudest, slip-on exhaust.
