It is my understanding that the Jardine exhaust does not test as the loudest but "sounds" the loudest out of all the other exhausts (except for maybe the Micron)? I want to replace my Jardine with something that has a little more grunt then stock but isn't ear blasting like the Jardine. I am seriously considering getting my stock exhaust changed to the Drummer or the Special Ops...which one will help me accomplish my goal the best?

You can go to American Sportbike's website and download the results of a comprehensive testing of various exhaust systems and make a more informed decision(ftp://ftp.americansportbike.com/outgoing/XB_Exhaust_Shootout_Test_Report.zip). I think that the Drummer, Spec Ops, Micron and Buell Race exhausts are all decent options for a more aggressive sound without obnoxious sound levels, but each have different sound and power curve characteristics that you may want to consider. All you're likely to get here are subjective comments. You really can't go wrong with any of the above mentioned exhausts.

The ASB test includes some sound clips to give an idea of what the exhausts sound like, but I would try to find another Bueller with the exhaust you're interested in to make a first-hand observation of tone and loudness. You can also find some video clips on YouTube of various Buell exhaust systems.

JSW07, which Jardine do you have? Also, if you do decide to get rid of it I would be interested in buying it from you. When you make a decision just email me at [email protected] and lets see if we can work something out.

Sebring if you can find one. I'm rying to get my hands on one somewhere. I love my Jardine though and its totally hollowed out too haha

I have an 07 Xb12s with the Jardine and I don't think its loud enough. Its weird, sometimes its sounds perfect other times the exhaust is really muffled almost quiet. Any suggestions?

anywhere else to get sound bites of various buell aftermarket zorsts. don,t get the language used on the site listed by TORK thanks.

XbRidr, are u in different places when it sounds quiet? often it depends on the areas surrounding u like close walls or highway barriers will make it sound much louder, whereas wide spread out areas like driving by farm land will absorb more of the sound over a larger area, making it sound sometimes "quiet"

I must be hitting my mid-life crisis. I run a Jardine Ti. It had the quiet insert in it when I bought it. I took it out. I'm still looking for a louder pipe. ;)

Did anyone notice this thread was started over 1-1/2 years ago?

Holy zombie thread, Batman!

To keep the thread alive...

I just bought a jardine carbon fibre exhaust for my 2007 lightning.
Is it absolutly necessary that i remap my ecm or can i just leave it like it is?
And does anyone have any experience with the ecmspy program?

Grtz
