I know there are similar threads but I want to know if anyone has went from a jardine to a hawk, not just some opinions but personal experience. Im trying to do some mods to get more torque and I think this jardine may be a little to free flowing

Not to mention LOUD. This is a good question and I was wondering the same thing. I really dig the sound of my jardine but after a 2 hour ride with earplugs, it takes a good 10 -15 minutes to get my hearing back.

Randy's bike had a Jardine on it when he bought it. This was his inspiration to make "a better solution." I don't have numbers to share, but I know he wasn't impressed with teh Jardine. I'm sure he'd be glad to discuss it with you.

I went from stock to Jardine back to stock and then Hawk. The Jardine was way too loud, lost low end and midrange. Hawk sounds so sweet, helped midrange and lowend torque compared to stock. No brainer in my opinion. Mine was on an XB12Ss. Having said that, I just went back to stock agian. Not becaues I didn't like the pipe, I loved it, but I do a lot of early morning and late night riding and I didn't want to cause any grief for my neighbors.

I haven't heard a Jardine myself but I don't think the Hawk has any lack of loudness or deepness. if I were you, I'd post something on here asking if anyone in your area has a Hawk that they would let you listen to. I don't think you'll be disappointed...

Yeah...I hear ya...I posted videos of before and after but that might not help you when comparing against a Jardine? I can tell you that the Hawk demands attention! I like to ride around watching the rubberneckers!! [cool]
