Ok so here is the situation. My 09 1125r last october gave me the "System Voltage" warning across my dash, and after riding with it a few times I put the bike away. now since then I have replaced the Aftermarket exhaust I had on the bike with the Stock exhaust, and installed an EBR ECM, as well as a modified VR fix courtesy of RTperf, now should I do the tps reset first? or just start the bike, btw its been sitting in my garage and its like 20 degrees so im sure its gonna need to have the battery charged. it has not been turned on since i put it away in october, and considering its gonna be like 30's here till may and snow i obviously wont be riding anytime soon.
Thanks for any suggestions.

im sure it will run either way but you should do a tps reset if you put in a new ecm. I would do it first especially since its so easy on the 1125.

ok thats what I thought, thanks kona, im gonna try to start it in the next few days, TPS reset, is 1. turn the key on, 2. twist open throttle 5 times 3. start bike?

TPS reset on my 1125 as per manual (paraphrased):

1.) Turn power on, switch to run (red switch down), but do not start the bike.

2.) Twist the throttle to wide-open and hold for one second, and release to closed for one second; repeat this step two times for a total of three WOT to closed throttle.

3.) Turn all power off (red switch up and key off) for five seconds.

4.) Turn power on, and start bike as usual. Let bike idle for 10 minutes for the IAC adjustment.

5.) Get out and ride!
