Ok I just got an 08 buell 1125r, now this bike is AMAZING, BUT~ I have some concerns~
First. the bike was wrecked and totally redone, new fairings paints etc etc.
Second, it has aftermarket stuff done to it such as (kandN airfilter, airbox mod, drummer exhaust.)
NOW i checked the ecm and it seems as if some wires were redone and or taken out, so i have no idea if it is a race ecm or stock.
ALSO there is a piece under the seat that is missing that WAS ROUND (like a tube) IDK where that is because the bike runs FINE without it so I didn't bother.
THIRDLY, I have no clue if the fan flash is up to date so someone correct me on if this information below is right.
left fan comes on at 180F not moving but will come on sooner if moving!! right fan will turn on at 200 not moving and 180 moving. the fans both run SOMETIMES after the bike is turned off, or sometimes they will run forever afterwards. sometimes it may be just the left fan running after shutdown.
IS THIS NORMAL FOR the 1125r?
p.s. I do believe the guy I got it from got it from the guy who had redone it, and I think he may have gone aqll out with refurbishing this bike, it runs amazing.
