Just got this email for Continental today regarding the TKC 80's

Your recent inquiry was forwarded to the Two Wheel division of Continental Tire the Americas.
The new 120 and 180 TKC80s are on there way to our US warehouse now and should arrive
in the next week or so. You should be able to get these new tires by end August from your local

Are these the off road tires that will fit our Uly's? They look like knobbys on steroids!

Yes, they are supposed to be a new size that is correct to fit the Uly (I am not sure if you have to take a fender off - they haven't came out yet).

Here's a thread with a pic of one with TKC's on it that are the wrong size (they made them fit somehow):

I think it makes the bike look pretty mad max.

mad max perhaps but a Uly will ride like **** and be a borderline handling deathtrap public roads with those things mounted. IMO

I admit they are meant for mostly off-road use (probably 20/80 road/off-road), but I have read elsewhere that they actually aren't too bad on the street.
