i just road home from the dealer which had my bike for a couple weeks for warranty work on the stator and there is a pool of oil under the bike. i cleaned it up and noticed a hole in the oil return line which looks like it was caused from the bolt for the chin fairing. looks like i am heading back to the dealer tomorrow. this happen to anyone yet? i have had the d&d on for over 3 years with the chin fairing on and off for maintenance countless times and this is the first time this has happened.

I read about something similar a while back.

mine was that I replaced the mounting bolt for the front exhaust mount and it was too long and punctured the oil filter while I was riding.

The chin fering bolts have sometype of treadlock and when loosend need to be re treadlocked sounds like they didnt and it rattled loose at least thats whee id point the finger if i were you they might cover it.
