Hey gents,
I finally ordered my EBR Race ECM for my 2009 1125R with Jardine RT-5 exhaust, and was going to order a drop-in air filter as well. Would the air filter be a good idea with the ECM and exhaust? I figured the Race ECM would be fine with the aftermarket filter. Also, how do I get the pods off? I am going to do this myself, and would like to know how to get the dang things off. Can't wait for it to come in! Thanks ahead of time, and ride safe!

It was about a 5 minute install on my 2009 CR... few torq bits on the left side (if you're sitting in the bike) pod, and it is right there. It is very very easy.

and, my bike has a K&N drop in filter with FMF pipe and EBR ECM, and she runs like a champ.

^ good deal, thanks. I can't wait to plug the bad boy in, do a TPS reset, and ride it like it's meant to be ridden. Glad you liked it. Thanks for all the info.

How does your bike run without the ebr ecm with the mods? I mean, if its all good, dont waste your money....:)

It runs okay, but throws CEL for my exhaust. It is pretty jumpy and studders at low RPMs. It doesn't run bad, but I want the EBR ECM, not just for any performance or sound gains, but to help out Erik Buell!

Yank that selenoid outta there (denoid) when you put the KnN in. The EBR ECM will not let it throw a CEL with it disconnected/removed.

Your gonna love that ECM. Brings the bike to life.:D

Oh yaaa.
I can see your smile from here! That ecm will have value to you like most hold value to gold!!
