keyed source?

So 08 1125r I'm wanting to put a cigarette outlet up by my teach. I want a keyed source I know there's many and it's easy to do but I'm picky I want a clean look so no spicing into stuff. So that leads to the questions. Is the factory plug for the heated gear keyed? Is it a common plug? Meaning could I just buy the other side to the plug add my pins and wire it to what I want and plug together for power? If so anyone know where I could get said plug at?

Yep. When I did my firebolt front end conversion I got my connectors off of e-bay If I remember correctly there is an opposite side of the plug in there with no pins.

Where does it mount? Is there an intended stock location for it, or does it have to be adapted?

No stock mounting spot, but the switched power plug is under your front fairing.

On my cr I just stuck it between the top of the fork and the fairing, opposite of the ignition key. You can probably do something similar next to your instrument cluster.
