Is there really a difference between a cheaper knee slider and the expensive ones? I have astar riding pants but i dont have pucks on them right know. Im looking at getting some but dont know what to buy.

I got a pair that came with my leathers when I purchased them, but for some reason they kept coming off of the leathers like the velcro on the sliders just wouldnt move with the velcro on the pants... I put some sliders off of my old pair and dont have any problems now. I would stick with a pair that has more of a star-like pattern for the velcro, it seems to help the velcro stay and mold better than just a circular piece.

asphalt and gas pucks are alright

but pure plastics and rubber compounds transfer all the vibration.

titaniums spray a bunch of sparks,

leather pucks are super nice low vibration, decent life, low noise at a cost. if your dragging knees make sure you are changing out your boot toe sliders as well.

i havent touched me knee yet but i know i can if i just leaned a little more over. I have 1/8 chicken strip left on my rear tire and maybe 3/16 a inch on the front. I have been riding for almost 5yrs now and i feeling comfortable doing it. Just need to get better at looking all the way through the turn but i have been working on that alot. Ok so im looking for a star pattern velcro and leather puck sounds good. I want be doing all the time but it would be nice to have. Why not i all ready got the pants lol.

I have cheap sliders that came with my suit and no problems with shifting around or coming loose. I need to get new ones soon so I better start looking!
