I actually buy from a local shop that services bikes & sells gear-going on line IS cheaper,but the people at mammoth motorsports,where I go are super cool,& I don't want to see them go under .

leatherup.com... I am really happy with the jackets I have bought from them. Good thick leather with zip out liners, and they look good too imo. Less than $100.

I went on e-bay and look at all the jackets untill I found the one I wanted. Then I copied the name and item # of it and googled it then I set the price relivency low to high and fond the cheapest one with free shipping and saved about $70 smackers. I do this process with everything I buy, and save $ every time.

I want to get some Speed and Strength stuff next. I dig the SS and I like the style. Icon is too trendy, very hot stuff but it's too production to be the "Unique Indivual" Everyone and their grandmother is rocking Icon. Yes Alpinestars is popular but they don't try to be XTREME!!!!!!!! They just sell solid ****.

i found this jacket, will be my next purchase. got one from leather up and one of the vent zippers busted, get what you pay for. my first jacket 22 years ago was a Hein and i was always impressed with the quality, this jacket has carbon fiber shoulder pads so sounds solid enough should i rub pavement.

Only thing I wish i could change is the white, it'd fit the bike mo'betta if it were black, I'm going to ask my dry cleaner if they can dye the leather for me. the jacket fits freaking great. it has a removable liner and ce protection in shoulder elbows and forearms, thick thick thick padding in the chest, and i used the back plate from my bionic armor for the back. its warm enough in the freezing cold, and from what i've heard it's super cool in the heat. the only part that isn't leather is that inside arm strip from armpit to the forearm area. oh and the back of the neck is a very smooth soft sweat absorbing stretchy material. i'd of got my money's worth had i paid 400 for it.

I just ordered a Scorpion Stinger jacket from sportbiketrackgear for $163 shipped. I got the red and black but they had the blue and black for the same price. It's perforated leather with a zip out liner, the quality of the jacket is top of the line. The same jacket in black is $380, I got mine yesterday and couldn't be happier. Haven't had a chance to ride in it yet, this winter has been a bitch here in southwest Virginia.

I had an ICON motorhead jacket and ICON helmet save my life, now I ride this ICON Retro Daytona Jacket

with the removable liner and plenty of vents it rides great in nearly all weather. The jacket looks great on the black and red buells. Did just check Icon, it may not be an available model anymore.
