I purchases this LED specific Flasher and my blinkers do not work with this installed.

LED Flasher

Current issue is that I installed an XBLights integrated taillight, and I have hyper flashing on front and rear indicators.

Any thoughts?

Ya the mod is free and just has you snip one connection. I plan to do that if I end up not liking the fast flashing. Some say fast is better as it gets more attention.

Guys.. I've read the thread, but wanted to see how to troubleshoot the purchased flasher.

There's nothing wrong with the flashers you've purchased. If that's what you ment by trouble shooting them. It's the amount of current, or lack of, that the LEDs require that causes them to flash fast. I don't know all the technical info behind it but I know that when I changed over to LED blinkers I had to wire a 10watt 10ohm resister between the positive and negative wires on both the left and right blinkers in order for them to flash at the OEM rate. That's what I did.
Or just follow the thread that's already been mentioned.
If you want more info on LED versus incandescent bulb current draw and all the technical info behind it... ...GOOGLE IT.
Good luck with your LEDs.

I have xblights on the rear and stock blinkers up front. I'm not clear as to why the LED Flasher is not dampening the hyper blinking issue.

"Google it" is a pretty shitty response in a forum, especially when this is pretty on topic and i've done my due dilligence (to some degree) on this issue.

Google it you are lazy. The answer has been posted multiple times for this issue.

site:buellxb.com and what you are searching for.

You bought the wrong thing and that is your fault from all the "research" you have done.

EP-36 3-6 lamp led flasher is the correct one and can be purchased at any auto part store. That flasher is posted in almost every led flasher thread.

What oh9bolt said,

It pays to do a little more research on our bike and what items are out there before just buying something...

BTW wasn't trying to be a jerk. I just truly don't know all the physics and technical terminology behind why or how LEDs work.
I also gave you a solution, which worked for me. Others have given you suggestions as well. I just know that searching google usually nets better results than the forum search function.
Also I just realized that when you referred to a flasher you were referring to the relay you bought. I thought you were referring to the LEDs as flasher.
So my apologies.
Once again. I wasn't trying to be a jerk. Just giving you my thoughts on the LED/flasher issue.
Good luck with it
