Led front turn signals-help.

So i hooked up a CA integrated tailight, works great......

With the stock front blinkers. Tried to hook up mini front led blinkers and they light up when i turn the blinker on but they just buzz and wont flash. Put the oem ones back on and everything works fine.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Change your flasher to an EP-36 from autozone. That should do the trick!

Thnx, just checked the package again. It says led mini indicators, is it possible that they are just lights and not blinkers?

You can make any light blink except a ballast light.

If your bike has incandescent bulbs for blinkers whats happening is the blinker relay module isnt detecting enough resistance. Since, LED's draw less they make the relay think that both bulbs are out when you put them in front and rear. If you were to just put one set of leds in either front or back and leave the regular bulbs in the other it will blink faster.

So you can either buy a blinker relay module from autozone as raz65man above said or you can do the blinker DIY fix. Here is the link: DIY Blinker

LED's have different(less) resistance and need a LED compatable blinker. Just installed some on mine, as long as one set of blinkers is stock there is enough resistance for the stock blinker to work,

Lol yep love this place. So im not too keen on hacking into the orm relay and would rather spend the $25. So if i buy the flasher from auto zone where is the stock one it will replace? Oh and thank you all.

I have an S and it is behind the front flyscreen. I think a yours would be in the front fairing, but I'm not sure.

If you have a R it's behind the front fairing bolted to the headlight mount, or sticky taped to the backside of the fuse box. If you have a S it's behind the front fly screen above and between the headlights.

So how do you know the flasher when you see it.

It is the small black box with the wires running to it above the brake side projector

Here's another question, the tailight came with some of those white resistors that keep the flash rate normal when you put the tailight on. If I wire those in would it do the same thing as the autozone/asb flasher?

It would if you left the front turnsignals stock. If you are using LEDs all the way around, I think you will need to pick up a flasher from Autozone.

Don't use those resistors. Those things are junk. My buddy has replaced those things about 4 times on his 636

"oh9bolt" why does the center of your projector have small rings in the center? I have never seen that and mine don't have that.
