Has anyone on here ever tried to light the wind screen from the bottom with LEDs? I am putting a hero blue air box, hero blue windscreen, and painting my wheels blue. i am doing LEDs in the air box, but i thought it would look bad ass if there were some in the windscreen also. just wondering if it has been done, or if anyone even thinks it to be possible.

I've messed around a little bit with it, but could never get the led's not to stick out like a sore thumb. Thinking about a thin sheet of UHMW or something opaque to hide them and diffuse the light for more even lumination.

so did you run them on the inside of the front fairing? and did you drill a hole for the LEDs?

Bought a 6 strip kit off of fleabay. Was able to hide the strips in the airbox, but nowhere to hide anything inside the fairing. Hard to fit anything let alone hide it in there. Without the fairing lights I just gave up on the whole thing for now.

i used to have groups of 3 leds in one box 1 inch long i made a custom kit 2 in the front fairing on the inside of the blinkers mount one on each side pointed down three on each side of the engine 2 in the rear shock area pointing out of the holes in the tail fairing and 1 on the race kit exhaust pointed down between the two tip you coudnt see any of the light tell u turn them on it was alot of work stretching wired and all connection soldered
