Anyone have info on LED turn signals that would fit the standard holes
on a Firebolt? Found some, but the stems are larger and would have to enlarge the original holes. Don't want to modify if I don't have to.... Thanx!

Thanx Rider, these are'nt quite what I was looking for. The small arrow tips are what I was considering for a cleaner low-pro look, and the only one's I've found have that larger threaded "stem", which I was told is industry standard. Don't understand why the factory would go with a smaller stem.... Regardless, thank you for the link!

Good luck with that...I seem to be getting the same results you are getting. Might be a custom job?

I've got the LED's from ASB front and rear (now slightly smoked), love 'em. super bright.
it's really nothing to drill out the hole. It's only about 1/8" I believe from 3/8 to 1/2. I used a uni-bit. No need to tap the mount as the signals should come with a nut for the backside of the signal

Hey Sleeper, did you run into any issues when installing? The fronts are fine,
but the rears don't seem to work when plugged in, and there's a whining
noise when I engage the signals....

If you remove your front fairing and hit the signal you will hear the flasher unit buzzing, pop that bad boy out and replace it with the ASB unit and you're all good. Plug 'n play...hard

Nothing against asb but if you want it done right away you can take the flasher to autozone or napa or others and pick up one for leds there.

nah, I just plugged it in, some people will zip-tie or mummify it with electrical tape, I did neither working just fine for me! let's see some shots when you get them all buttoned up

Damn, my X-1 didn't need anything for led's. I was hoping Buell hadn't changed that. Well I guess I will be doing some shopping before I install my LED's on the XB12X
