Did my first oil change on the bike(second time it has been changed I bought it used). When attempting to put the left side oil bolt thingie back on it never tightens. It just spins endlessly. I don't think it is the thread it is like the thing the bolt goes into is spinning which is why I took video.

You can see the ring outside the bolt spinning. I want to ride...damn it.

Video don't work.

The "thingy" I'm assuming is the swing arm which is where the oil drains out of, and holds your rear tire to the rest of the bike.

If the threads in the swing arm are not stripped, I really would like to see this video to see what your talking about.

The oil plug goes into the engine case on the CR, CrazyTexan, not in the swingarm. That's XB-style.

Sockets, try pulling the plug back out and inspecting the threads on the plug and (maybe while leaning the bar way to the right to minimize leakage) in the drain hole. One or both of those threaded areas are probably stripped. If you're lucky it's the plug, but it's probably the drain hole since the plug is steel and the drain hole is aluminum.

I believe the spinning ring is just a washer. That's only spinning because the plug is not getting tight.

That's stripped bro. Hope it isn't the case, if it is though you may be able to fix it with Helicoil. The aluminum it soft. Use a torque wrench if you want to be sure to never strip anything on your bike, even then you have to be careful.
