length difference in 03-05 and 06+ swingarms?

I believe the XB swingarm changed to the newer style in 06?

Is there any difference in length between the 03-05 and the 06+ swingarms?

have seen specs stating the '03-'05 wheel base is 52 inches and '06 at 51.9 inches... that's not that much difference, the '06 looks better though...can someone confirm

I thought the bike got about 3-4" longer in 05??? Idk if swing arm played any part in it ... I would assume it did, someone will chime in with the exact measurements soon..

they are the same length, the 03-05 are a better built swingarm the 06 and up are made to break on a hard impact.
2003 swingarm is on the left 2006 swingarm on the right

i was of the opinion that the 06 swing arm was made to offer more stiffness. and i think it is stiffer. i have always found that i can push the later swing arm bike a lot more through a corner than the early model. i found it sat more stable. maybe it is just me believing the hype, but the later arm is thicker in width.
