I think the parts for SS to S tail conversion are:

Buell, Trunk pan kit, with bat. label XB S/Sx/Scg. Product number: M0007.1AD

Buell, Battery pan XB S/Sx/Scg. Product number: L0076.1AD

Buell, tailsection right hammertone silver XB S/Scg. Product number: M0614.1ADYBT

Buell, Seat XB S original. Product Number: M0090.1AC

Buell, tailsection left hammertone silver XB S/Scg. Product number: M0612.1ADYBT

The S rails doesn't fit directly to SS without modification.

Thanks guys I'm gonna look into doing the swap. It looks so much better. In a new Buell owner just got mine on Saturday and love it so far.

Thanks for the compliment Big Twin. I think the headlight can still be ordered at the Harley-Buell dealerships.

They seem to be popping up more frequently as the CR gets older.

Well I definatly need to get my pics uploaded and on this thread.
For now the description
2008 1125r....kinda
Complete R1 front suspension,brakes, and wheel
Ducatti 1198 clutch assy
EBR chain drive conversion
Flexiglass type 2 fairing. Not designed to mount the fans. but i was determined and fabricated some fan mounts and made my own cooling system
custom tuck plate
barker exhaust with ebr ecm
black wrapped headers
A lot of red lighting
Right now i'm running with different color fairing until the winter.

Winter project is to take a track nose fairing make it skinnier and mount a single projector lens headlight at the tip of the nose. simular to the 1190rs
And of coarse a complete paint job All Fairings and swing arm. And probably make my custom fan mounts prettier.

Moto that looks awesome!! I am about to put a lightning tail on my 09, so your bike gave me a more or less visual of what my bike will look like. I will eventually do the Ss swingarm also. I have one suggestion, cut that hugger and tail it will look way better.

I know you probably ride in all weather so it is functional but gosh damn it takes the aggresive look away from the overall look of your bike.
