Old photo that EVERYONE has seen like 10 times. Dont be hard on your bike. I started out on a 07 gs500f. Drug pegs on that thing alot and even dumped it a few times. Glad it was that instead of my buell. BTW after the 500 i jumped to the xb12r. I also rode my 500 every chance i got. :D

Wearing a spare set of fairings (originally intended for track days).

I don't have a chain gemstones for it. The first one I tried using failed and the chain hit my swingarm but it's doesn't matter I still hit mid to high 150's with the belt. I'm happy with it.

@bicyclebob
I'm sure im not the only one curious. What signals are you running? looks like the same front and rear. They look great! Sweet paint too [up]

And Welcome!! :D

On the specs in the second post, it is pre-'05 on the 41 mm forks, not '06. '05 and later are 43mm [up] Rebuilt the forks on my '05 XB9R this winter and they are definitely 43mm :D

Thanks, corrected that post as well as the original thread. [Thread Jack over]

redbolt04,

Yamaha R1, 06-07. Mounted with body molding tape on the rear. Same on the front but had to get a wide flat headed bolt to clamp the fairing. Actually used a bolt made for connecting furniture pieces together with a 1/4-20 nylock on the back side.
