Licence plate mount / swingarm

Use the rear brake line bolt and a piece of double sided tape on the left side of the swing arm. Cost is nothing and looks good too. Thats what I did for years on my bolt.

Here is this one. It is $499 with powdercoat and plate lighting included. They originally designed it for the 1125 but are willing to make some for the XB's. Only thing is, you will have to drill into the swingarm.

I think I'd rather just go with the $25 ebay one. Its half as cool but 20 times less expensive. Xtremelow, do you have yours illuminated somehow? Its a BFD around here if your plate display doesn't comply with Florida statues, so I need ideas about how to shine some light on the plate.

Xtremelow how you attached yours to the axle? Detailed instructions please - I'm a little mechanically challenged ;P

It just gets held in place with the pressure of the axle sliders.

Also I don't have it illuminated at all, but would b easy to run a simple wire and light to the plate.

I plan on using battery powered led light glued (or some other way mounted) on top of the tag.

I'm going to chop the tail and relocate the license plate to the swingarm and put it vertically. Is it legal in Washington to mount license plate vertically on motorcycle?
